Can't go wrong with this hotel, great value, excellent service
My wife and I stayed last week at Hotel Mingood, after finding it on the Internet searching for Penang Budget Hotels. As a "budget hotel" I think that the service far exceeds any other budget hotel I've stayed at in Penang, and there have been quite a few! What stands out in particular are: * Staff helpfullness and friendliness *.

Great for price paid

The rooms are basic but fine, they were always cleaned every day with new towels etc. every day. The TV had a news sports and movie channel which was good...
